Becoming A Member
We believe that God invites all Christians to become members of a local church where they can be known, nurtured, and prepared to serve.
What does it mean to be a member of a church?

This church is your home church
-
You attend this church on a regular basis

You invest your time, finances, and effort in church activities and responsibilities

You are committed to the fellowship in this church

You can potentially serve in leadership positions within the church

You are entitled to the aid that is outlined in the bylaws and policies (marriage, funerals, etc.)

You can vote and have a say in the leadership, bylaws, and conduct in the church
Member Eligibilty

Have a testimony to an experience of the new birth

Have been baptized in water by immersion

Evidence of a consistent Christian life

Indicates a willingness to contribute regularly to the financial support of LICC of which they have become a member

Accepts the Tenets of Faith as set forth in Article IV

Be at least 16 years old
-
Have regularly attended services of, and supported, LICC for a period of at least 3 consecutive months before the date of application for membership
