Learn About Life In Christ Church

Learn about our mission, vision, core values, beliefs, and our Lead Pastor.

Our Mission

Our Mission is two fold.

Second, we exist to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey what Jesus commands. (Matthew 28:16-20)

The Great Commandment

The Great Commission

First, we exist to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
(Mark 12: 28-30)

Our Beliefs

Statement of Fundamental Truths

This "Statement of Fundamental Truths" contains the 16 doctrines of the Assemblies of God. These are non-negotiable tenets of faith that all Assemblies of God churches adhere to. Four of these, Salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Christ are considered Cardinal Doctrines which are essential to the church's core mission of reaching the world for Christ.

Lead Pastor

Pastor Teng Vu

Pastor Teng became the lead pastor of Life in Christ Church in 2021. God miraculously saved him from a life of destruction and drug addiction when he met the Lord while in Minnesota and Adult Teen Challenge in 2003. After he graduated from the program, he moved to North Dakota in 2004 and helped to start the state’s first North Dakota Adult & Teen Challenge Program. After returning to Minnesota in 2007, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies from North Central University in 2013.

Through Pastor Teng’s passionate preaching style, zeal to win souls into God’s Kingdom, and gift of leadership, he encourages everyone to keep the main thing, the main thing: reaching people, communities, and the nations for Christ. He is committed to fostering an intergenerational church and sharing the Gospel to the Hmong community and beyond. He is married to his wife, Nhia, and they have four children.

In addition to leading Life in Christ Church, he serves as the Hmong AG Fellowship president. The Hmong AG Fellowship is a network of 18 Hmong Assemblies of God churches in the United States.
