ABOUT US

"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."

Colossians 3:12-14

OUR MISSION

To glorify God through displaying His love by preaching the Word, reaching the lost, and being an example of a fulfilled life in Christ.

OUR PURPOSE

To engage our congregation in a Holy Spirit-filled environment where they are empowered to grow in knowing, following, and serving God.

OUR VISION

To reach families, communities, and the nations for Christ.

Pastor
Teng Vu

Lead Pastor at Life in Christ Church

Pastor Teng became the lead pastor of Life in Christ Church in 2021. God miraculously saved him from a life of destruction and drug addiction when he met the Lord while in Minnesota and Adult Teen Challenge in 2003. After he graduated from the program, he moved to North Dakota in 2004 and helped to start the state’s first North Dakota Adult & Teen Challenge Program. After returning to Minnesota in 2007, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies from North Central University in 2013.

Through Pastor Teng’s passionate preaching style, zeal to win souls into God’s Kingdom, and gift of leadership, he encourages everyone to keep the main thing, the main thing: reaching people, communities, and the nations for Christ. He is committed to fostering an intergenerational church and sharing the Gospel to the Hmong community and beyond. He is married to his wife, Nhia, and they have four children.

In addition to leading Life in Christ Church, he serves as the Hmong AG Fellowship president. The Hmong AG Fellowship is a network of 18 Hmong Assemblies of God churches in the United States.
